And here it is! The Christmas giveaway from the European Artfire guild. For the past couple of months we have been working to put together the collection of goodies you can see in the picture below. There are hairpins and hairclips, some holliday themed glasswork beads, a shawl, gorgeaus jewelry, Christmas decoration, a pair of ladies fingerless gloves, a christmasy box and I bet I forgot to mention something.

If you want a chance to win all these lovely handmade goods from Europe all you need to do is write a comment to this blogpost, you can even get your name in the hat twice if you blog or twitter or help us promote this giveaway in any other way. So be sure to let us know.

Snow and Ice by Silver Soul Design

It seems so wrong to even mention snow and ice in August but that is what I called this necklace, it just seems to fit.

It is made with frosted quartz nuggets, clear crystal beads and a heart shaped pendant, Bali silver spacers, pendant focal and clasp.

Item of the Day-Quilted Elephant Quilt

My mum had bought this fabric to use when my children were babies, but hadn't been able to do it before she passed away. I have finally decided to put it to good use and made this baby quilt. The elephants on the front have been hand quilted. The spotted backing fabric has been machine quilted to the front. Aprox size of quilt is 28"/71cms x 34"/86cms. A matching cushion will soon be available

Item of the Day - Ray Lee - Drawer Refesher

Ray Lee is a sweet little manta ray who lives in your sock drawer and keeps it smelling fresh.

She is crocheted with a little pot pourri bag inside. She also has posable wings and tail and safety eyes.

If you wish, I can make her in any colourway you like. At the moment I have the red/pink and a navy/light blue one ready to go (Yes his name is Blu-ray)

I can also make them without the potporri on request making them into cute toys for younger children.

Sometimes, it can be great just to find some items that make you feel good. Just that little personal treat to help you stand up to these tough times.
